For three generations, my family has been proud to play a part in building the Upstate South Carolina community we call home.

Our story began in the early 1980s with my father, Rodney Griffin, who became a pioneer in the local blasting industry, becoming the first licensed blaster in South Carolina. He performed much of the blasting work that helped make way for the infrastructure and development we see throughout Upstate South Carolina today.

Growing up, the family business became more than just a job—it became a trade, a craft, and a way of life. During my teenage years, I worked alongside my father whenever needed, gaining firsthand experience and learning the importance of doing the job right.

In 2001, I started my own drilling and blasting company, carrying forward the knowledge, experience, and values I had learned from my father.

Today, that legacy continues with my son, Griffin Rice, who has followed in our footsteps and serves as the primary driller and blaster for Accurate.

Three generations later, the values remain the same: hard work, experience, precision, and pride in a job well done. I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Upstate and to carry our family tradition into the future.
